Gouache painting on 9 x12 watercolour paper. It's based on the fight scene in Superman 3. You wouldn't punch a man with glasses would you? Evil Superman would. Here's a link to the rough drawing I did for it [link]

In my opinion, this is the only scene worth watching in the third movie. Goes to show that nobody else has it to be Clark and Superman as Chris Reeve did.

wow, you had to do all that, it was good idea to pose youreself to get more detail on the suit.

Thanks. I did a rough drawing to make up the composition, then took still frames from the movie on my computer to study the details of all the background elements while I was painting. I moved some of the objects around so it was in the picture in a more effective way, and I also posed myself to help with getting the wrinkles of the suit.

I just saw this movie for the first time few months ago. Great drawing, its exactly from the movie, the fight is going on in the construction and car dump area and you were able to put all that in the background. great job!

I am curious, How do you guys draw these picture?Do you record and pause the movie on tv and than draw?
